Our edge-of-wilderness location is perfectly semi-remote, just six miles from Healy and seventeen miles from Denali National Park and Preserve. We have 6 cabins located on the north boundary of Denali National Park, high on a ridge, overlooking the Healy valley with a breathtaking view of the north side of the Alaska Range.

This ideal location is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the popular park entrance to enjoy a peaceful taste of true Alaskan life, yet close enough to see and experience the natural wonders of the park.

Denali National Park and Preserve is a six-million-acre slice of Alaska’s gorgeous interior wilderness. Established in 1917, Denali is home to a variety of wildlife, including grizzlies, wolves, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. Denali is also named for North America’s tallest mountain (Denali at 20,310 ft.).

“Alaskan here. Had out-of-state family in town for a week and we decided to spend the weekend in Denali. We rented the large cabin (#6) and it fit a family of 4 plus a toddler very well. The cabin was clean and modern, surprisingly spacious, yet the knotty pine cupboards and doors gave it a rustic feel. There was a kitchenette and refrigerator so we didn't have to spend money on eating out. (we did take advantage of dinner at the 49th state brewery, which is 5 minutes away). It was very peacefully tucked away in the trees and had more of a wilderness feel than the the tourist trap outside Denali National Park entrance. The cabins are a 20-30 minute drive from Denali National Park, and it was nice to be able to end the day of hiking with a hot shower and a beer on the porch listening to the breeze in the trees. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit the park but avoid the traffic and tourist traps of "glitter gulch" outside the park entrance.”
